Hi.
I had really slow blinking turn signals on my 126p, it was flashing every 2 or 3 seconds (both sides).
I went ahead and changed the turn signal relay. It was a mechanical one just like the silver one in the attached picture (DLB-SL-12V 2X21W - 4W+2W).
Changed it to a new electronic relay(the black one in the picture is what I changed it to), and now the turn signals don't even work at all. :( The feedback light glows constantly on the dashboard when the signals should be flashing.
The hazard lights were working fine all along, but that has a different relay. Bulbs are not burnt out, all of them works.
What could be the issue here?
Maybe I'm just missing something or doing something wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried adjusting the original mechanical unit by carefully taking the metal case off and bending the fixed contact nearer the bi-metalic strip

In all honesty, I didn't even think of fixing the old one.
I am going to try what you said tho, for sure.

Hi, saw your post today. I had a similar issue on my 1987 air cooled model. I changed the relays but to no avail. Ultimately I had a the front rhd indicator unit terminals switched.
