Dunno if you have seen this before, it was up for sale in Scotland last year and can apparently do 140MPH (edited, I was wrong) both forward and reverse.

My good friend Mark Tortolano took some piccies with his camera phone for me.

What bike engine was it? Last year at a bike show there was an old 50s Sunbeam bike with a 126 engine in it, now that was cool. Id fancy an old Jap aircooled 4 cylinder in a 126 of some sort. Not mine tho!
1987 Fiat 126 FSM, alloys, clear lights, Polish tat accessories... love it!

Chris

That's a brilliant vid, bet the 911 guy had a shock

The car I think it more red in real life, the camera phone makes it look pink because of the lighting.  Also, checked my old emails and the car had a Yamaha engine, so I buggered up, sorry  :(

Here's what Mark said.

Quote
Come on, you KNOW it makes sense. A Fiat 126 with a Yamaha R1 engine and six speed sequential gearbox. I went to see this puppy today and it rocks. The phone pics don't do it justice - it is a fantastic lush red, and the Union Flag on the roof is spray painted on, not stickered.

The guy started it up and it sounds fantastic, just like, er, an R1 with a loud pipe in fact! The rear suspension has been changed to be independent, and it runs proper 2 pot calipers up front and single pot calipers in back. There are uprated shocks and springs and it has a roll bar. The interior has racing seats and harnesses and an R1 revcounter. And a hifi. It rocked. Oh, it also has a transfer box so you can do over a hundred in reverse. It all looked really pretty well done, I was impressed. Proper sized radiator, electric fan, ram air, etc. Didn't get a go, sadly. A mere ?3995 for 142 horse!

Edit: The horn also plays the same tune as the car in the Dukes of Hazzard and the gearing maxes out at 115mph. Can you imagine what the acceleration must be like? If I had the cash and somewhere to keep it, I would get itr!
