Title: Disk brakes
Post by: Rusty's Uncle on April 15, 2015, 09:07:26 PM
I had some more disk brake adaptor plates made recently after a couple of requests. So still some available at £27 including UK postage. Suitable for 13" rims so easy fit on the Bis or air-cooled running 13" wheels.  :D

Good deal there Rusty :). If you have chance to send me over the plans sometime it'd be appreciated to add them to my collection :D. Still probably cheaper to get em from you though should I feel the need :)

Been having a tidy up and realised I still have some of these if anyone is interested. Also have some good used disks and callipers , some refurbished callipers, stainless brake hoses and a complete pair of stub axles with a disk conversion  :)

Hi Rusty,

Excuse my ignorance, but have you got everything there that would be required to convert to front discs?  It's something I've always intended doing but never got around to, mostly because I'm far too lazy to go around getting all the parts together.

Iam also interested in what is also required to fit discs, eg what is the donor car parts?

Hi guys , a repeat of what I just said about the sport camshaft project in that all the information is here on the forum if you do a search and yes I do have all the bits but the key is the adaptor plates that facilitate the use of standard Cincuecento / Seicento parts and you can put together a conversion for under £100 if you shop carefully. Once fitted you get better braking, easier to maintain and no more siezed or leaking brake cylinders  :)

Same price as at the top of this thread which started in 2015 and that was the same price from my original much earlier project which was to help 126 owners get an affordable disc brake conversion  :)

Brexit, what is brexit , never heard of it !  :headscratch:
Is it some sort of lowering shock absorber that restricts movement?

Will message you when I get the price. They did put up all the prices at the start of this week  >:(
