Paint code suppose to be Moss Green but I decided to mixe it up a little for this "flat" shade. Finally instead of mixing I picked up another ready colour but can recall the number now.
Here we go with progress, slowly slowly as not time at all - free evenings few bits at the time. But I is becoming 126 again.... :P
Such a thing as Fiat 126p will never happen again to this planet... Love it.

This is its original interior. Done by company in Poland around 1976-77. There are some to buy on polish allegro but it is rare now so not every time there is one when you are looking for it. I would guess it will be easier to find professional company to do it here in the UK. But as I didn't do it - can't really help. Sorry.

My fiat is almost there. Apart from the rear bumper, engine and rear engine mount everything is back in place !!!!!! No carpet as no time to pick it up but almost home!!!! Jupppiii!!!!
Engine goes in this weekend if i am lucky and few bits i will finish in my tiny garage when finaly back home :)

Looks like this one will be better than your lovely orange one. Keep the photos coming. Have you thought of doing a full restoration on a UK RHD 126? If you do, I am absolutely sure you can sell it for more than what you got for the immaculate orange Fiat.

When I will finish this one of another one will be RHD for a TOTAL mind blowing restoration :D

Today we put engine inside but and put back panel in. We didn't start is for a few reasons: I forgot to get twin spark coil, leads, oil plus many others.
But as it was scheduled to leave the garage and go to sleep in mine me and Michael (big thanks) tow it as is :) :) :) for a 1 mile. With a threat of self-locking (dont know why) ignition lock and no braks :D
But we did it. It is horribly dusty but finaly almost in one piece. Few pictures as it is at present including floor which was a hell of a job to rebuild properly.

Two days ago I "left" £576 at ricambio due to not having time to surf the net and get things from Poland. Including carpets and all electronic ignition set plus my favourite white walls and million other bits so expensive but didnt hurt so much - I needed it all.
Due to some nice afternoon and me being home before the dark (!) I did the following:
1. Fit and "clipped" proper fuel pipe made in italy,
2. Repainted and fitted engine lid lok with famous polish "extention arm" for better cooling.....,
3. Repainted rear bumper irons and refitted rear bumper + cable for the reg plates light,
4. Got from Poland and fitted two small rubber covers under rear bumper to prevent water to go in (ultra cheap but ultra pain to get them),
5. Fitted original Abarth chrome petrol cup,
6. Fitted properly yellow bulbs,
7. Some cleaning here and there.
