is there a certain way that these lights need to be rotated? How do you know the actual LEDs are facing the correct way... or does it not make a difference?

See how on the front ones there is a small plate under the leds, this needs to be pointing upwards from under the leds when the bulb :good: is in the light

Hi Stuey, I hope your going to be able to get your car on the road this year, it's spending too much time in the garage ......lol Those lights like a good upgrade.

My brother has leds on his passat. They do shine well and all but they throw light all over the place so i do not consider them oncoming-traffic friendly. Plus they do not let us pass our mot here with leds mounted.

I myself plan to go the retro yellow bulb route on my bis....

Yellow bulbs look awesome on a 126 they give it a continental look. I use them myself occasionally in the summer when the evenings are lighter

Yes and no. At 45 watt they’re not exactly bright however the majority of the roads these days are well lit and those that are not you just drive more cautiously (i.e slower). The yellow hue does seem to react with objects better than the standard white light you get - I think perhaps the yellow pigment has a positive effect on certain colours it shines on.

Mine don't throw light everywhere, i think a lot depends on the headlight and the quality of the bulb, my lad had some in his golf (Different bulb and make) they they were awful and did throw light everywhere.

I also think some people put in the highest power ones they can, mine in the fiat are only 25w.
