So... I know the car hasn't been on the road for a long time, but how long I have no idea... all I can say is that the MOT history checker has no record of the car (and the reg doesn't come up with much on many databases it seems other than the odd one).

Records for that started in 2005... so the car has been off the road for at least 9 years! I wonder if there is anyway I can find out when it was last on the road legally... It was dry stored for 5 years and had been in the garage of the seller who bought I bought it from for about 2-4 years from recollection.

I've replaced so much on the thing I'm beginning to forget... but just wondering if it will pass now waiting for D-day to arrive at 1:15PM tomorrow! So for fun... will it pass!?

After a nail biting hour and a half, a disgruntled MOT tester and a nerve racking drive to the station...

It passed .

He was impressed with the brake balance but said it was a little close on the ramp to get it on there!

Well done. Another one back on the road. I love driving mine even though it can send me mad when little things go wrong. But its so easy to fix so worth it.
