Hello everyone, here is my Little Gem Fiat 126 Bis from the 1980s I recently have brought it and thought I will have time on my hands to sit there and restore parts of the car - unfortunately things have popped up and they will take time meaning the Fiat will just stand there in the cold and damp weather we have here in England - I feel that it is better to pass it onto someone who has time on their hands
The car is in Good-ish condition, It was meant for 'Spares and Repairs' as previously was used as a Still Advert (hence the Taxi Stickers) I have removed some of the stickers, mainly the smaller ones and the Taxi sign that was on the roof.
- The car inside is clean, as I have cleaned it out quite a bit because the previous owner left it unclean.
- Dashboard (leather) is in good condition (no tears)
- Back boot I clean (I have resprayed the little shelf as it was bit tacky) now it all looks good
- Front boot is also good-ish condition
- All Doors and boots close / open fine
- Windows work fine
That's just a short list of some points about the car. The little car wont Start, I was told by the seller and the guy who delivered it to me that it started when driving it onto the pick-up truck but since then I presume the battery is just dead so that's not a problem.
The car obviously has some rust spots, I have included pictures of the Main one (other are just little tiny ones) as of outside the car (from the drivers side) has small dents, the door handle is damaged a bit - at the front when I was taking off the stickers some paint came of, this is due to a poor paint job on the outside (inside it is red)
There may be some parts missing from the Engine (what I noticed was the Air Filter intake and a Cap) but there is a picture of that as well.
I would love to see this Car Restored by someone rather than send it off for scrap or for Parts, seeing as there is only a Few in the country it is really worth it, it's sad to let this one

Cheers for looking and interest,
Dawid
