« on: January 10, 2010, 11:33:07 AM »
I want to swop the engine & gearbox in my 500 for a 650cc 126 with box.

I have the engine & gearbox , could anyone tell me what other things i need to do the swap or where i can find out this info?

Thanks

have a look at this site http://www.fiat500clubsa.com/niki-swaps.html it will give you a rough idea what's involved, although I dont think it's necessary to change the back panel for the 126 unless you intend to use the 126 engine mount.
Probably your best bet is to make a post of the Fiat500 UK forum.

good luck with the swap :)

Hi.
I've put a 126 engine and gearbox into my 500, If you need any advice, sned me a PM. Most of it is a straight swap, but you will need to change the drive shafts as the 126 drive shafts are too long.
